What is Reishi?
Reishi (a mushroom that has been used in Oriental medicine for more than 3000 years). This mushroom has many health-promoting properties. Among other things, this fungus is anti-carcinogenic and has antioxidants. It also strengthens the immune system and combats insomnia and allergies.
The only Tempranillo wine made with the Reishi mushroom, which combines its medicinal properties with this wine, producing a surprising wine that has already won a gold medal in the first 6 months.
As for the wine, its color is ruby, and bright with a middle layer and its appearance is completely normal. In the nose, a first impression looks more earthy than fruity. The entrance to the mouth of this ecological Tempranillo, which is very well prepared, offers us a combination of fruity aromas of the variety combined with earthy and balsamic aromas, which are made great thanks to its balanced acidity, accompanied by roasted aromas. Defined, and even a slight tannin touch that reminds the wood without it remembering leaving a long licorice finish.
All these touches are provided by this small Japanese mushroom, which makes its first steps in this wine from Extremadura. Curious combination and great balance and a mineral note in its place, which brings the whole thing to perfection and leaves a smoky touch, accompanied by many red fruits.
